The airport is only about 3 miles down the road, but then everything in Dubai downtown is close to the airport. There are 139 rooms in this seven story building and all have standard amenities including minibar, work desk, newspapers, etc. There is a swimming pool onsite and a basic gym. The Billabong bar is an attractive place for a drink. As for the tours, most are not that interesting with the exception of the Waddy Bashing 4x4 trip, which is great fun apparently.
